Our Mission

Out@MSB exists to build an inclusive LGBTQ+ community for undergraduates within Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business.

We create space for connection, support, and visibility through events that combine community-building with career growth.

Out@MSB is Georgetown’s LGBTQ+ undergraduate business community. We run events that fall into three buckets:

Professional Development: Panels, workshops, and conversations that help undergrads explore careers in finance, consulting, entrepreneurship, marketing, tech, and more. We bring in alumni, students, and professionals to share real advice, and we host skill-building sessions that make recruiting and career planning feel less intimidating.

Community: Low-pressure socials and meetups designed to help LGBTQ+ students and allies find their people. We create space that feels welcoming whether you’re brand new, not out, fully out, or just looking for friends who get it. Community is the foundation that makes everything else feel accessible.

Advocacy & Visibility: Programming that strengthens LGBTQ+ belonging on campus and in business spaces. We host events that promote allyship and elevate LGBTQ+ voices, and we work to make inclusion feel consistent and real — not performative.

No. Out@MSB is for LGBTQ+ students and allies. If you’re supportive and want to be part of the community, you’re welcome here.

No. You do not need to be in the McDonough School of Business. Out@MSB is open to any Georgetown undergraduate interested in business, including students in the College, SFS, Nursing, and beyond.
